With a happy shriek, Seras leapt into the snow bank. She absolutely loved winter and snow, and thanks to a freak snowstorm, London had been blanketed with about six feet of the white powdery stuff. Seras couldn't resist spending an evening playing out in the stuff, and there were no missions tonight so she was free to do so.
"Are you a snow angel now, Mignonette?"
She turned to see Pip leaning against a wall, smoking a cigarette. His hands were stuffed in his pockets and his braid was wrapped around his throat like a scarf.

Christmas Eve was not going well for Seras. First she chased a revenant through a bog, smashed her head against broken logs and slogged through ice-choked water. Then she had to run back to camp. Getting there in time to see the last transport leave. She raced after out and managed to grab an outrigger just as they slammed on the brakes and the vampire slammed head-first into the back. But the night still got worse.
It warmed up enough to pour sleet. Chunks of ice embedded itself into the girl's hair and clothes. Dead as she was, cold still felt miserable. She staggered out waiting for new orders. He backed her against the wall.
"…Seras…" Pip Bernadette's voice came in a deep husky tone. "Mon Seras."
"Pip…I…" He shook his head as his hands went to her cheeks, pulling them upwards. He muttered something incoherent under his breath and looked deep into her eyes.
Their lips met.
She responded immediately. Her small hands intertwined themselves in his hair to bring him closer. Her lips parted to accepted him and he obliged happily. His tongue explored and caressed her mouth and she moaned in pleasure. The walls around Seras' fragile heart soon gave away to something so much stronger and deeper.
